Readme.txt for MIL 8.0 ================= This file contains instructions on replacing the Corona.inf file for camera behaviors solved by (Matrox Internal reference) ITS entry number 999. The update ensures greater reliability in frame acquisition by adressing an intermittant partial image corruption issue with this camera type. Enclosed with this document is a file called Corona.inf. This file should replace the one installed by MIL 8.0. To replace Corona.inf: Make sure Intellicam is not running. Make a backup copy of: \Program Files\Matrox Imaging\Intellicam\Corona.inf (ex: rename as Corona.Org, for Original) Copy attached version of Corona.inf as: \Program Files\Matrox Imaging\Intellicam\Corona.inf Intellicam will thereafter use the updated inf file. To apply the solution to an already existing DCF: Load the DCF, go to the DCF's Advanced applet, and check the "Output Timer\Send a Timer Output to an external device (other than camera)" checkbox. This will force a register recompute. Answer Yes to the question asking if the registers should be overwritten. In the case where this causes black horizontal video lines at the top or at the bottom of the image, go to the Video Timing page and decrease the Back Porch of the Vertical video timings. To create a new DCF with the solution: go to the DCF's Advanced applet, and check the "Output Timer\Send a Timer Output to an external device (other than camera)" checkbox, and create the DCF normally.
